no start

Hey all...quick question. This morning my borthers truck had some starting issues. The truck is an 89 d350 .....it's black banshee's truck. Has quite a few fueling mods and a recent headgasket replacement. When he cranked it this morning it would turn over heartily...just no fuel. I primed the fuel filter and she fired off immediately. Truck has never had issues starting. What is going on? Is there air in the lines? Lift pump? some quick replies would be awesome. thanks redwake.

lift pump....or if the pedal is hard, it could be the fuel solinoid not pulling open.

Mine has had a fuel solinoid problem a few times. just take it off, clean it, lube up, put it back on. Lately its been doing it again, and ussually If I crank it alittle long it will pull open and start anyways.

Fuel pressure test .
Possibles , lift pump , overflow valve [ or the equivalent for building pressure ] , fuel solenoid , leaking fuel line on vacuum side .
