No power..now won't start

Hi-97 dodge 5spd, 4x4-Just had the head replaced (head, valves, etc all new) ran great for 500 miles. Took truck and horse trailer about 15 miles. Truck runs fine. After sitting about 2 hours, truck starts really hard, but idles fine. Get to main road and no power beyond about 1500 RPM. I had about 1/8 tank of fuel so thought maybe air got in the line (Yes, I'm a newbie). I drained the H20 container, then pumped and bleed the filter to remove possible air. Now truck will not start. Talked to the person who replaced the head and he said I got lots of air in the line by what I did. Said I needed to crank until it starts (30 seconds or less). Said Dodge is notorious for had starting in these situations. I can't find any mention of the hard starting nor if the initial issue was a injector/transfer pump or something else. Fuel filter was replaced about 5k miles ago and tank has been removed also to replace sensor and was clean...any ideas suggestions would be appreciated as it's a DOA for now..Thanks...paul

have you tried to crack an injector line and bleed the air out that way?

Assuming you have plenty of fuel in the tank, crank and bleed injectors (3 at a time to start) until they all leak - tighten each as it is primed... probably will take several times - be patient!
