Help CTD won't start
My 05 CTD won't crank
So the other day i rumped a bunch of rust into my diesle tank, any ways it not has been drained rinsed out, the lift pump screen cleaned, ect, new filter..... It was running good, but sounded diffrent to me and was maybe popping a little under accel;eration, anyways last night i killed it and now it won't start. The only code it shows is teh water code, but teh light isn't on and I have drained it, but it had no water in it. There is fuel pressure to the injector pump as my dummy light comes on when i turn the key and the lift pump comes on. It won't even try to start, no smoke , nothing, it turns over strong also.
Could maybe some starvation have killed my injectro pump? or i stheer a scren somewhere on it that may be clogged? With no service engine light an dno trouble codes other tahn water what canbe wrong? Is theer a kill siwtch that could be frozen?
Can I pull a line off the pump and trun it over to see i fits pumping? if so do i nee dto do any bleeding or priming?

Any undone maintainance 1st [ the rust ] , then test to see if there was damage , fuel pressure test , gauges would be a good mod .
Loosen fuel lines to get a guess at pressure , both after lift pump [ to see that its working ] and if so at injectors to see if main pump is working , but very high pressure at injectors [ can shoot a jet of fuel into flesh ] so be careful with high pressure .

Update, I went out to pull an injector line and decide to try and crank it, It fired up hestitantly. My fuel pressure dummy light stayed off and about 6 seconds after it carnked it made some kind of rattle sound kinda like maybe iot was the AC clutch kickingin. So i decide to rev it alittle to see if the fule pressure (from lift pump) was low and i reved it to 2000 and the pickup stuck there, it like hovered for 30 seconds after I let loose the trottel before it fell back to idle it bounced from 1800 to 2300. So i reved it again and it did the same but wou;dn't quit so i killed it. the exhaust doesn't quite see like its sounding right though.
