Fequently I am experiencing very little or no power under acceleration. Not sure if its dead pedal, Im guessing my 1/4 mile time with this happening would be close to 1 or 2 minutes. I tried reading the codes with the 3 key trick. I found no codes. If I stay in the pedal while this happens sooner or later I will get all of my power back instantly. anyone have any ideas on where to start???

 

i would first unhook the edge products and see if it still does it. I had the same problem and it was my edge comp.But my check engine light came on and had the p0237 code. I drove it about 2 weeks without the comp and it never happened again. I hooked the comp back up minus the wire tap and it is back to dead pedal again and cel.

 

While driving and experiencing the dead pedal.... try turning ignition key off and back on and see if you immediately get power back. If so your injector pump electronics are overheating and the key trick resets the electronics. Mine did this before setting the dying VP-44 code. I drove it like that for almost a year b4 I had VP changed....
