DEAD PEDAL no power

Well yesterday after a 4 hours drive home i pulled into my driveway and right as i did the check engine light came on.....ran code reader and came back with the code for low voltage to map sensor. i have a edge comp box(just to let you guys know). I started narrowing down the problem and am stuck. i disconnected the edge box still does it.... changed inline fuel filter and one under hood. I have a holly blue lift pump that seems to be working fine can hear it pumping away. I checked the voltage on the map sensor and it reads 5 volts from the orange wire. I removed map sensor and it was very clean didnt need to spray it with break fluid. I have also tried to reset the apps on the truck and still have nothing....the code will not clear as well...im lost right now please dont tell my im in for another vp...any advice is greatly appreciated

While monitoring the scan tool, jumper the (F855) 5-volt supply circuit to the (K37) signal circuit in the Map sensor harness connector
Did the P0238-MAP SENSOR VOLTAGE TOO HIGH, DTC set? Replace the MAP sensor
