Check for a boost leak at one of the intercooler boots.

You might have forgotten to tighten a clamp down for the elbows, or one is leaking due to improper fitment or is has split. Double check all your connections you had apart!

Beat me to it!^^

Everything you have mentioned points to a boost leak - or you left a rag in the piping.

The A/C condenser lines have nothing to do with your problem.

Not with high EGT. You have a boost leak or a restriction. A rag left in the intercooler pipe will cause this sort of problem...

This is definitely a boost issue. High EGTs are the number one tip off. I have made up adapters to hook up the inter cooler to a shop vac with the blower feature, I cap one end and pressurize the system, then i listen with a stethoscope for a the leak. Also, by murphys law, the inter cooler boots will always crack where you cant see them, be sure to use a mirror to look completely around them and squeeze them with your hand to expose the possible crack.

Cheers,

Harold

No kidding about the not seeing the cracks. I had a crack in one of my boots on my 99, took me quite a while to find it. Finally found a little mark on a boot, squeezed it and nothing happened. So I caped both ends off and put 20 psi to it, sure enough that little crack opened once under pressure
