well i think i have a new injector giving me problems! i installed new injectors 3 days ago, and since the install when ever i put the truck in gear with the engine cold, it bucks and lopes VERY bad but will not stall. when the engine is warm in gear it will idle but acts like a gasser with a plug wire pulled and is running ruffer than my stock injectors with 120000. i have put 200+ miles on the injectors and maybe its me but seems to slowly be getting worse. did i do something wrong? thanks for any clues Mark

 

What type of injectors did you install? Are you getting white smoke? Does it backfire? Does it run good in the upper rpms?

 

West Coast, i posted this in the performance section, but to answer you Q's,
DDP 2's, yes some white smoke but no longer, yes some sputter and a few backfires but no more as well, runs very well from 2000 on up. i do not think that it is the injector, i think i forgot to make sure all of the old copper washers were removed and will be checking the old injectors tomorrow to see if there still attached. if not i will pull the injectors and re install after removing old washers. catch you in the performance section.
