New Fass system problems

First off the Truck is a 2005 cummins with the CP3 IP that ran perfectly fine.

Now ive installed a FASS 95 with all the lines properly connected, with an Artic Fox intank/inline heating pickup.

As per instructions and a friend, i've cracked the fuel filter and IP line, seperatly, only when the pump is cycling.

Now heres the kicker with the lines bled the truck idled at 8-900rpm(first start up) for 5minutes then started to self rev up to around 1100rpm. Randomly jumped to 1400rpm back to 800rpm then stalled...and continues to do so.

If anyone can help this would be great!!

thanks for response

fuel pressure seems to be constant at around 10-12psi - guage sweep is 0 to 100 but do not notice any movement after start-up or as it is reving up/down then stalling

latest update! did the bucket test asper FASS told me to do...with the return line submerged below 10litres of fuel. After running the truck for 5minutes it once again died from starvation..but once i got out of the truck there was a great suprise 25litres of fuel in the can and another 5 or more on the ground...does this sounds like the units pressure relief is EDIT??

Sounds like an injector return flow problem. Tighten the fuel tube connectors at the cylinder head then try again.

im a newb with diesels what do you mean by fuel tube?...the common rail line to the injector or the injector itself?

Also ive found out its not the fass system, the truck when converted back to stock fuel line and wiring still does the same thing as before *high idle then stall after 5minutes*

Where the fuel line connects to the tube that goes crossways to feed the injector, you will see a 19mm fuel line fitting, around that is a 15/16 larger fitting. This 15/16 nut tightens the fuel tube to the injector and seals with a press fit, the proper torque on this nut is 35 ft/lbs. If these are loose you will get excess return flow and some power loss. The stalling and revving sounds more like the fuel control actuater located on the injection pump. This part is replaceable seperate from the pump.
