Hi I am new to the board and a diesel noob.

Earlier in the week I had the Fass fuel system Installed by their authorized dealer.
The Truck starts instantly when cold , but after it hits operating temperture it takes 5 to 8 seconds to restart. On the Fass website it says I have possible vp44 injection pump damage.

The truck runs fine , anyone else have this problem?

I bought the truck used with 125k has 130k now , most likley original vp44 pump.

Have it checked for codes with a scanner, but it is probably a bad Vp, sorry

 

Could be the diaphram in the rear of the pump. I have had good results by useing a 12 valve o/f valve.

 

Dump a bucket of cold water over the IP when it is warm , and see if it starts right up.
