WIF importance?
The previous owner of my 95 cut the wires to the WIF sensor after adding a primeloc remote filter. How important is this sensor, do they work that well? How long would it take for damage to occur if water were to get in the fuel? I'm just thinking that if it ever starts running ragged, immediately pull over and swap the filter, simple as that. I've owned 4 of these trucks and never had the WIF come on.

I've never had a WIF light come on except after washing the engine.
It only takes one tank of bad fuel to change that though, nice to have some advance warning before the entire filter fills with water and it gets injected into your engine.
