need some help with brake problems

need some help with brake problems

when sitting still if you apply the brakes get aloud grindingish sound like metal against metal. It does not make sense since your sitting still maybe need brake fluid Im lost.

If it is consistent and repeatable, I'd have somebody apply the brakes while I listened. The only brake components that come to mind when you describe the noise is either the e-brake cables (return springs) or the calipers as they slide.

Crawl under there and take a closer listen. Good luck.
