need some help

well i got my truck back from California last weekend. now the problems start. i went to go get it it was on a day the dealer ship was closed. i told them i was coming and they said they wont be there to give me the keys i said i dont care i have spare keys. well i open the door and my ECM is on the driver seat and i knew there was going to be all sorts of problems. i opened the hood and my batteries were gone and at that time i was in a bad mood then. so we winched the truck up on the trailer and went home to poth texas.

Got it home and put the ECM back on bought new batteries a new fuel filter and some transmission fluid and checked the oil and the truck cranked and but no gauges on the cluster and no start. turned the key a few times and the cluster came on the truck started. and ran good. it just needed a new fuel filter all this time. a new lift pump and and $1500 in all in fuel and parts that the dealer put in my truck not knowing what they were doing. but they un did a lot of stuff and i dont know what. so the cluster is my only problem so far.

1. the gauge cluster comes on as it pleases and if the the cluster dont come on the truck will just crank and crank. i tern the key on and off a few times it comes on and the truck starts rite up runs good. if i shut the truck off the cluster my work it may not work the next time i go to start it.

so im thinking loose ground wires of a short some where. going to work on it tomorrow i dont know what do yall think?

i drove it to Cali to visit and it all the sudden had a loss of power and the first dealer in Cali said i needed a new lift pump so i said ok and it cost me 750 and got back on the road for about 80 mi and truck broke down doing the same thing agin. so i called them told them the truck was broke down doing the same thing. so they sent me to another dealer that would warranty there work. and they were dumb as a rock and didnt know how to work on diesel or a truck at that.

i had an Edge chip on there i took it off and put it back on the on the stock wiring harness but the problem was the edge chip stretched out the prongs on my map sensor and was getting a bad connection on the stock connection it was too loose. so i pulled the little prongs back close together and plugged it back in to the motor and the gauges came on and check engine light went off so i dont know how the map sensor works with the gauges but the trucks been golden sense
