Need some help
If i stop at a redlight and just push in the clutch and leave it in gear, about 20 seconds later the truck starts to take off. I cant get it out of gear either. once I turn the truck off push the clutch a few times its ok until i hold the clutch in for any time. I have a haisley street drag clutch. 15000 miles on it no slippage whatso ever. resivior is full I need some input and suggestions on what it could be. Thanks

Sounds like the master cylinder on the hydraulic clutch is bad. Just like when your brake master cylinder goes bad and the peddle sinks and the brakes start to release when it hits bottom.

If its not leaking out it sounds like the slave is allowing fluid past the seal and letting the forks start to engage. Air would allow slippage immediately I would guess as its easily compressible.

If yours is like a '97 it is a preassembled unit with no provision for servicing (bleeding). Can you "pump up" the clutch pedal? If so it has failed internally. OEM from Mopar4Less was about $110 for mine. South Bend Clutch also sells one designed for heavier after market clutches. R & R is pretty easy. Don't forget to pull the master cyl anti spin plastic pin that goes thru the firewall under the dash if it has one like mine.
