Need to know how to remove input shaft

I'm tryin to get my Dodge back on the road, but ran into a snag.
My transfer case is shot and I picked up another one to swap in. Mine is a 6 speed trans and ths one is set up for an auto.
I've got the old transfer case apart and stripped out, BUT I can't seem to be able to get the input shaft out and I can't find my service manual disc.

From the inside I had removed a large clip, but the shaft doesn't budge. What's the trick. Help.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Seems like there is a vacaum in offers to help. Now I don't claim to be the expert on these things, but don't recall it being hard to accomplish.
Here goes: With access to front of case, remove the retainer and pry loose. There should be snap ring on shaft and snap ring on outside of bearing. Remove ring on shaft and tap shaft out rearward. Should come right out unless welded to bearing. In that case, try more pressure with a press or an alternate procedure as required. Once the shaft is out, the bearing should nearly fall out, forward. Doesn't that sound simple. Hopefully this covers your situation in detail. Good luck.

Thanks, didn't know there was a ring behind the seal. Pulled that and it fell right apart. Swap done and back in business as soon as I fix me carrier bearing.
