NEED HELP FAST!!!! Clutch

Ok here is my problem i have no clutch. i push the petal and nothing the petal just moves freely. what happened was hauling hay and went to push the clutch in to down shitf and nothing it stalled had to start it in gear and drove it till i got the feild looked for leaks around master cylinder nothing. So i should just replace the master cylinder or could it be the slave cylinder. it will build a little pressure after a while and hold for about 2 seconds i need my truck asap so any help is appreicated

Best to just change both. They are sold preassembled from the dealer for around $150 give or take a few dollars. You can get them individualy from NAPA but it is a guessing game and it is a pain to bleed the system. If you want to spend a few extra $$$(Approx. $300) get the heavyduty upgrade set up from Southbend.

instead of buying the stocker, get a south bend upgrade. not much more $ than stock, but higher quality and more force for equal pedal effort.

Go with SB. I dont remember cost, but I think it was $185 or 200. Works great.

I replaced my clutch for my 97 last dec with 13 inch upgraded MU13-1,25 Con O and replaced it with the SBC Heavy Duty Hydraulic assembly Hyd-X-1.25 master hydraulic assembly all filled with fluid and ready to install. Its for 1998-02.

Cost $300 now. I got it at Source Automotive here but you can get it direct from SBC:

http://www.sourceautomotive.biz/inde...emart&Itemid=1

Look here on SBC site and scroll to bottom of page:

http://www.southbendclutch.com/dodge.html

Easy to install

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
The dealer assy is a little less fuss, and mayb a little cheaper. It works as orginal.
