Need Help Bad!!!

Any ideas???

He did and all it has is the 1693 code (companion code) Could it be some bad fuel?Fuel filter was also changed in Dec. Is there anyone up around Rock Hill South Carolina that could help him out?
When The Lift Pump Was Replaced Did You Go With The Intank Pump ?if So Your Connection On Top Of The Fuel Tank Could Have Come Loose Or He's Getting Alot Of Air In The Line Somehow.usually When This Happens It Ends Up Being The Ip Is Out, Even Though Yours Is New
I went with the stock type lp. Is there anything he can visually check. The truck will start up and rev but after that I can't really say what it does.He just says it sounds rough.
START BY BUMPING THE KEY WITH THE DOOR OPENED. HE SHOULD HEAR THE LP RUN FOR TWENTY SECONDS. IF HE CANT HEAR IT WITH HIS HEAD BY THE FUEL FILTER THEN THE LP WENT SOUTH AND PROBLY TOOK THE IP WITH IT

Hate to tell you this - BUT, running rough and blowing lot of white smoke are very often signs that the IP is shot.
key on/off trick rearely works (I dont know why so many people think it works)....to extract the other code(s) you need to have the truck scanned with an OBDII code reader.
Its absolutely critical to have a fuel pressure guage in the cab.
Good luck.
