Take all the bolts out of the exhaust manifold execpt for the one that has the nut on the stud which I think is the 3rd from the back and raise the front of the manifold up as far as it will go. By doing this it will give you enough room to slide the turbo in over the motor mount. You will also find that the oil return line needs to be installed befor the turbo is put in. You will need to take the 2 studs closest to the motor out of the manifold and cut 1/2" off of them to clear the top of the turbo. Before you start you will need to get a short 15mm wrench to get to the front inboard nut.

I hope this helps. A 2nd set of hands will alot because that turbo is very heavy.

Yes you need to cut just the 2 studs. I fount this out when I went to install mine on my 05. It took me 3 times of putting it on and off to figure all this out. I'm glad that my problems are going to help someone. If you can, get someone to help you with the job. All of this can be done from the top with the fender liner on the truck. You will also need to cut the little pin off of your factory exhaust elbow before you mount it to the turbo. That pin is used at the factory for lining up the elbow with the turbo but there is no hole in your new turbo for that pin.
