Need Gen 1 tensioner/idler mechanism - Alberta

I have a great and sudden need for a belt tensioner for my early production '91 CTD. A dead bearing in my alternator, a bent shaft in my AC compressor, some weird noises all have happened in the last 20 k. I thought that replacing this stuff would end the problems. Today I noticed that the new serpentine belt I put in a month ago was rubbing on the inside casting of the idler mechanism. Not too smartly, I tried to pry it back a little to sort of adjust it. It snapped. The break shows about a third of the area was oxidized and may have been the reason for the idler rubbing against the belt and its failure. (excuse....)

Does anyone have one in the Edmonton region? Any idea's would be appreciated

Have you tried Central on 170th?

Is a new one out of the question? I realize they are not cheap, but a used one is likely to have quite a few miles and might leave you stranded.
