more leaks

i have 92 350 i changed my govener spring and replaced the throttle shate bushing and oring. i put it all back together and not my idle is a touch to high and i am leaking fuel in a few more places the leak stoped on the throttle shaft but i have a leak that looks like it is generating next to the manual shut off and there is one that is dripping from the bottom. any help would be greatly appreciated is it worth taking the pump off and fixing it on a work bench. or just leave it right where it is.

Was it leaking before the governor spring install?

The one at the bottom sounds like it might be the timing piston cover, the pump has to come out for that.

i replaced the governer spring because i had it apart to replace the leaky throttle shaft seal. that was the only leak at the time. i figure since i was in there i could replace the governer spring. the timing piston cover is it hard to replace when it is out

Did you replace the top cover seal/o-ring? That is most likely your leak that looks like it's coming from around the manual shutdown. Also the fuel drain banjo bolt has two washers that should be replaced when doing a gov spring. All found in the VE $15 reseal kit. Both these leaks will make it look like something else is leaking. Idle a bit high could be from threading in the fuel screw a little further than where it was prior to gov spring r and r.

By o-ring I mean 'top plate' o-ring/seal, not throttle shaft o-ring, just so we're on the same page.
