My wife dropped me off at work today and went off with the truck.

A few minutes later she phoned me saying it smelled like fuel. Then she phoned again and said it really smelled like fuel and there was a smoke/vapor coming from under the hood.

She parked and said that fuel was dripping from under the truck.

I figure a burst hose is the most likely thing.

I have the Dodge in tank fuel pump. The truck is otherwise stock.

Any ideas on where to look, or a competent shop in the Silicon Valley?

Without seeing whats going on, it could be anything. Injector line rubbed through, split line, etc. Gotta take a peak and see whats up.

 

I am going to go with #4 injector line.

 

CamperAndy needs to go rob the nearest 1st grade teachers supply box and get himself a gold star. It was indeed the #4 injector line. When the Dodge dealer stocks them, I guess that tells you something.
