'98.5 ,3500 ,24v, 5 speed While under load max boost 14 lb EGT up to 1400 then I back out. Edge comp box, 4" Turbo back, K&N. My '02 same setup but auto and wast gate J-hook by bully dog. 32lbs boost never over 1100 on the EGT's. Thanks for any help... Paul

 

First thing I would do is to hook up my air charge tester and get the intake system up to psi and see if there are any obvious leaks. Pict of mine in my gallery.

 

I made a crude one from parts at Home Depot in Kileen texas to locate my leak. I had 11# boost at 2500rpm, major leak that could be heard inside cab but I couldn't find it until hooked up tester.
theres a picture in my gallery.

 

look for the obvious leaks in the boots, pull the intake side of the turbo and give a wiggle/look for wear....if none is seen, build a leak tester.

Just get very soapy water and spray it around the boots and see if they leak???
