On the way in this morning my EGT’s starting going through the roof, boost is almost nill, there’s a huge “sucking” noise from the area around BHAF/glove box and the truck is *******.
After a brief visual inspection everything looks good under the hood (I was expecting to find the BHAF in a million pieces) also my connections look good.
Anyone have any input

 

It has to be a boot blown off or a ruptured boot. Check over all your boots with detail, especially the one on the intercooler on the pass side as that one rubs on some sheetmetal at full boost.

 

I take my hat off to you sir!! I just checked and the hose right below the turbo is loose/almost off. I’ll tighten her up and report back a little later. Thanks again.

 

All tightened up and boost is back in the 20’s and EGT’s are low.

 

at least you heard it... when you see a semi draggin butt up the street and you can hear all the air getting away...the driver cant.....I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS ...LOL
