limp home mode?

My check engine light came on and the truck will not shift out of 1st.
I suspect this is a limp home mode. If so what could it be?
It is a 2005, 3500 with a 48RE

Turn the key on, off, on,three times leaving it on the third time and the codes will show in the odometer window. You must do the off/on quickly and do not let it turn the starter over. It may take you a few tries to get it to work but it will read you the codes out. Write them down and then post them here. Someone will have the notes for what they are as well as they are posted is some form on this board. Do a search after you get the codes.

I found them. p1754 is the Throttle control actuator and p0483 is the fan speed sensor. Do not think that it would overheat as it is -23c today. The actuator was replaced a few months ago. Not impressed that it may be gone in such a short time.

Possibly. I think that it is the actuator not letting it shift into 2nd. I was possibly wrong about it being in a limp home mode.
