Pulling my toyhauler for the first time and everything was going along just fine until i stopped at a light. Upon taking off I noticed that the truck seamed sluggish and would not shift. I then pulled over to check the tranny fluid. Fluid level was fine, did not smell burnt, and was clear. I then proceeded and the same thing, I can only go 55MPH at 2400rpm. Was told by a mechanic friend to disconect the battery for 20 min to see if the computer would clear and that did not work. Any suggestions would be appreciated?

 

what year truck. model 4x4 etc. miles on it. this will help you more as it helps us get a more depth into what it might be.

 

Was it clear or was it red?? Clear means it has been quite hot.
