Leaking injector lines

Leaking injector lines

I have an 01 cummins which i recently replaced the injectors in. Now 3 of the 6 injector lines are leaking where the line screws into the head and mates to the tube connecting the line to the injector. What should I do?

i agree, tighten them while the engine is running so you can tell when they are tight enough

How tight should they be? Can they be overtightened?

when they stop leaking they are tight enough
(30 foot pounds is the spec)
