Question leaking gear oil

I have a 01 Ram 2500 5.9L. There is some gear oil all over the parking brake shoes and the drum. The leak looks like its coming from where the parking brake assembly bolts to the axle. I just don't know how to get in there. I pulled the axle out, but the seals and other stuff I don't know how to deal with.

The big nut in the middle has to come off, then you can pull the hub off to fix the seal.

Once you pull the axle you will see a large lock nut and nut that surrounds the axle tube.

You have to remove those nuts to pull the hub assembly and then you will see the seals on the inside of the back side of the hubs.

While you are down there, remove the vent/overpressure valve from the top of the axle tube next to the differential, and clean it. What generally happens is the vent becomes plugged and then pressure builds up in the rear axle housing and blows the seals.

Also check your pinion seal to see if it is drooling around the front of the differential where the universal joint bolts. Generally when the rear axle seals go, the pinion seal is not far behind.
