<br><br> My truck has been plugged in for the past 48 hours. I go out and it starts fine. Go inside for 10 min's and when I come back it is acting just like a gas engine that is &quot;dieseling&quot; So I shut it off, cycle my glow plugs twice and restart, it runs fine for 10 sec and goes back to running like. I think its jelled so I add a bottle of heat to the 1/4 tank of fuel and now it will turn over but will not fire. So a buddy gets in and notice's that the trip computer reads something like &quot;PPCU&quot; but I can't get it to come back up at all!! It is -10 below and hasen't got above 20 degrees since it ran last!! Please help.<br> By the way it is a 2002 HO 6 speed!! Thanks in advance!!!!!!!

 

sounds gelled, especially since you've only got a 1/4 tank of diesel...<br><br>if you cycle on-off three times, you will get any code readouts on your odometer....

 

Yea...keep your tanks full 7/24 during the winter. One of the best ways to keep your diesel from jelling up is to try to keep new diesel running through those lines.<br>Adam

 

I run Howes Diesel treatment in my truck year round. It guarantees to prevent Gelling,it also cleans and lubricates your injectors. Might be a good investement. It is available at any truck stop. p.s It's cheap peace of mind.

 

<br><br> Ok so here is the outcome:<br><br> This all took place at 8am, I go back and try one last time at 12:30 and still no fire. So I give it one my last try at 3pm before I turn it ove to the grease monkeys at the local dealership and whalla fire!! I immediatly took it down and filled her to the brim and everything seems to be fine. Now however I can still get this code to come up<br> P PCU<br> ------<br> P-Done<br> P-0216<br> Now if you go and look this up it will say that P-0216 is a injector/timeing problem. My question is--The truck runs fine so is there still a problem? Thanks again to the best response of any forum I have found!!!

 

HMMMMM........wonder if the Crank Position Sensor is gettin' ready to take a dump?
