jackstand location

Replacing lower control arm, I`m thinking it needs to be under the axle(4x4). Somebody correct me if I`m wrong. TIA

I always put them there, I know some axle manufactures say not to but I've never had a problem.

I believe no stand will keep from distorting location of components. With setting flat on ground you can unbolt remove and inststall new. Torque all suspension components with weight of vehicle on tires.

Just a lower control arm?

- I don't use a jackstand at all!

... 'bout a 15 minute job.
