Location of AC condensate

Help
Where is the condensate vent for the AC unit on a 1998 3/4 ton Ram? I think it is plugged, and I want to check it, as I get condensate all over the floor.

Re:Location of AC condensate

You should see it of you get up under the right side or the frame, behing the tire. Look between the inner fender and the frame at the back. The hose probably isn't very long because it just drips on the plastic inner fender and rolls off.
A coat hange stuck up in there should unclog it.

Chris

Here are some pics.
This pics is from the bottom of the truck, looking between the right frame rail and the right inner fender, behind the front wheel.
The red line points to the vent tube, and the blue line points to the filter drier.

In this picture, you can see the position of the filter drier in the engine compartment. It is the black object mounted on the firewall, with the green plug on top.

The AC evaporator vent is just under the filter drier.

Chris
