Re:water in fuel light sensor location

The Water in fuel sensor is located on the bottom of the fuel filter. The drain that you lift up on has a couple wires coming out of it that you have to disconnect in order to change the fuel filter. My '96 didn't have one when I bought it. It had a plastic fitting that you had to undo to drain the filter. I foolishly went to the dealer to get the proper one. Paid way too much. Geno's has them for $15.95. Geno's You could also check you're wiring to make sure it's not grounding or shorting out somewhere. Good Luck.
