How do I get this injector out ?

I'm trying to pull out my #6 injector because it's having issues. :-)

Anyway, I've got the fuel line pulled, got the hold down removed and can't seem to be able to pull this thing out. I don't wanna break anything. What's the trick. (besides the "tool")

Also, once I get it out, what should I LOOK for as the cause of my stuck injector problem? Can you tell by eye?
Thanks, Dan

Piece of PVC pipe, cut to length ( not sure how long) and a lug nut off of your truck. It is the redneck Injector puller.......

Not sure how to tell if it is stuck though.

1-3/8" length of 3/4" steel or PVC pipe, one lug nut and washers if needed.
Just slip the pipe over the injector and screw the lug nut down.
Most times you don't even need a wrench to pop them loose.

Okay guys. I should have specified that this is on my 03. Totally different injectors.
I WISH they were that easy. :-(

I checked in at another site and found a whole set of instructions on pdf.

Can you bar the engine over and let the compression push it out?

Where you pulled the feed line to the head, there is tube that mates to the injector to deliver fuel. You need to pull the feed tube to pull the injector. Once the tube is removed then a gentle pry is all you will need to pull the injector.

Also once you pull the injector out make sure the copper sealing washer came out with it.

got the tube out, but I can't get the injector out. It's the number 6 so it's a real bear to try and get to.
What are water pump pliers ?
