A holley blue pump is 134.99 out of the jegs catalog. Which i was going to that with the relocation kit from vulcan but i don't have the money for that right now so i'm just going to wait and save my money and upgrade to a complete FASS kit this spring. You can get a campaign pump from Cummins for like $70 or so, so i have read on here. There out there, just got to do some looking. I'm hoping i can get a pump at a good price, Cummins out here is pretty cool for some of the work i did there, i used to work at a tire shop and i replaced the tires on a few OTR trucks they had come in to get motor work done and we hooked them up with some new treads at the same time. Like i didn't have the right socket on the truck one time and one of the guys there gave me his to use for a while. I just hope i can get it figured out and get my truck going again.

By what it says on their website, the Vulcan relocation to the frame rail kit comes with everything to mount a Holley or Carter pump to the frame rail, but i don't know much other than that. I'm still learning as well, so this is all still new to me. i doubt that the holley blue can be mounted in the same spot as the factory pump without a little bit of fab and difference in wiring. I'd rather move my lp to the frame rail, but just don't have the cash right now so it'll have to wait. I'll do it hopefully this spring when i have to money and then i'll just go up clear the the FASS system.

Well I know where you can get a pump for 139.99 + shipping, and if you have never replaced it before, you will need the harness and it is 16.92. So that is 156.91 +shipping and your ready to go. I would post a link, but they are not a sponsor of the sight. But rustybudweiser, if want to PM me, I'll give ya the link.

Get one of these, just put one on B4wheeler's truck today 14psi idle.
Pro-comp Black
Then mount it on the frame and splice it into the fuel line & run a relay triggered off the stock LP harness. You can even just leave the LP in place plumbed in too.
You will need 2- 3/8"npt x 1/2 hose fittings some 1/2" hose and hose clamps. Al this for under $100.
Here is a pic of my Holley Blue w/ big line kit and the stock LP still in and running. 27 psi idle and 21 Wot.

That is way to much pressure. Your going to destroy your VP. And that does not say it is Diesel compatible, hope it holds up.

And why would you say that? I have had this system on for 3 years and no problems. What the VP doesn't use returns to the tank through the relief valve. Keeps it cooler too.

Take batteries somewhere to get charged, Diesels cranking need speed to create enough compression. If you just try with jumper cables you won't make it.

Your truck will start fine if batteries are charged.

There's more to worry about than just the tranny.
Sounds like your lift pump is weak.
If you don't already have one you need a fuel pressure gauge on 2nd. gen.'s with the VP44 IP's.
Do a search and learn more on this very important subject, it's been covered many times.

well i had jumper cables and it had worked before when i put the gauge in early last week. Anyways yesterday i got a quote for a new pump for $120 and $80 labor at our Cummins shop so i just took it to them this morning, i'm so frusturated that i didn't even want to mess with it anymore knowing my luck i'd get mad or in a hurry and break something or not do it right. So i decided to do it that way that and they are also going to giver me a 6 month warranty on the new pump. So i figured what the heck, if i goes out after that, then i'll upgrade to a FASS kit. Not to mention that my batteries are dead so i decided to just pay them the little bit more to get it going again since i would have had to taken my batteries in to get charged anyways. I just hope they don't call to say my IP is almost gone or something like that also. Yeah that's the problem i had so i bet your lift pump is pretty much gone as well. deffintely look into getting it fixed. Yeah i got a couple friends that just bought 24V's in the past couple months and i called them yesterday and told them to get fuel pressure gauges in ASAP.
