Help I've loosened and I cant tighten up
Ok, heres the deal, I started to adjust teh bands on my transmission. I have loosened up the lock nut and in the process I have backed out the band adjuster serveral turns, not sure how many.
So i begin to tighten it up and unfortunately mine does not have the torx fiting in the end of it. So I start to go through all of my sockets trying to find one that will fit this damned square peg.
I find that a 9mil 12pt socket seems to fit it. So I begin to tighten it and it just seems to keep turning and turning and turning. But alas it was just cockeyed on the darned thing so it doesnt really fit.
Does anyone know what size actually fits this freaking thing? Cause right now Im afraid to drive it.

That is what I was using but minde doesnt have the whole in the adjuster for the torx. I could not find anytheing that would fit the outside of the square on the adjuster. But i finally did. if anyone else needs to know it is
an E14 star socket. I think it is the equivalent of a 5/16 8pt socket.
It fits a little loose but only using 72 inch LB's its more than enough.
