tighten fuel lines at pump?
any magic tools available to get to the 17mm flange nuts,?, I have a leaker, (bottom one dripping) and it looks like I need to pull the PS pump and related brackets to get to this. Say it isn't so
Maybe modify a 12 pt deep socket, and hollow out 1/2 of the side wall?
BTW where is this "T" shaped shut off I hear about? I see nothing on the outward side of my pump?, excluding a bit of linkage and the cold start solenoid
thks,
janb

You are on the right track regarding the tweaked socket needed to work on the inj. lines.
The socket we have at the shop is a pricey snap-on unit but is pretty much like you describe.
Part of the socket side wall is opened up so that the inj lines can fit in between the socket wall and still let the socket proper slide over the inj line nut.
On ours, we get about 3/4 of a turn on the nut then need to reset the socket one way or the other depending on removal or installing.
The "T" handle for the fuel shutdown is on the drivers fender side of the pump. It is located just below the AFC domed housing and slightly below the high idle screw, it has a heavy spring loading. The handle, when in the "on" position is toward the rad. You really can't miss it if you look closely.
You simply push the lever back towards the firewall and the fuel is shut off.
Here is a link showing the lever in question.
