I just ground down the fuel plate to a #100. Well i put it bck together and it is a dog off the line now and then picks up after a few seconds. Whats wrong here?

And when sliding the plate forward for more power is the meaning tword the front of the truck?

Thanks Kodi

sliding the plate forward means sliding it towards the front of the truck or towards the radiator...i suspect your lever arm needs to be adjusted and its riding under the plate

also since it appears that you have a stock tranny and stock torque convereter ..so when u mash the go pedal you're creatign alot of heat and rpms rise considerably before the fluid coupling catches up and puts some of that power to the ground....what are you revving to when the mash the pedal before you get moving ?
