Did you turn the yellow drain at the top of the hose?

I think Happycap was wondering if you used the drain. Although the good book says to drain the filter bowl at times, unless it's an emergency, I'd never touch mine. The orings set into the drain passages over time and then are subject to tearing when you open the drain ****. The valve assy is available separately, or if you have access to an assortment of orings you can take it apart and "re-ring" it.

FYI I've seen people in "a pinch" thread a screw into the drain hole to stop the leak. Seemed to work.

.....oh great! I'm going to get scolded again for implied profanity. Try inserting "drainkoch" in the above.
