Help

Help,

My truck will not start. This has been an intermittent ongoing problem. My truck is a stock 04.5 except for K&N intake and pacbrake. I have 9psi fuel pressure from the lift pump in the tank, but all it does is crank and crank. Oil level is normal, truck ran fine yesterday. There is one error code, p0477.

That code is for low engine brake voltage.
Look in search for FCA problems, most of the time
when wont start its a fuel problem.

Thanks for the reply

I just got it started after reading another thread about an 04.5 and chafed wiring. I moved my steering wheel up and down and it fired right up. I have had a situation now for a little while where my heater/ac fan will not run in the cab. Adjusting the steering wheel up or down ends the problem. I had the cover off the column, and could not find the source of the problem. Could an electric supply issue cause the no start problem? I am out of ideas. Everything about the truck is fine when it is running, no smoke, no surging, no issues at all.

Did you cycle key 3 times to check for codes.
Go back to that thread and send that person a private
message, telling them your problem.

I did check the codes, nothing new. I will do what you suggest, and contact the person that wrote that bit that seemed to work. Thanks much.
