Help 2002 Clutch

Clutch Will Not Engage, Have Air Hissing Sound When Pushing Pedel And It Goes To The Floor

sounds like your hyd. slave/master cylinder is gone around 200 bucks and you will be back on the road. Have someone step on the clutch while you look at the push rod on the tranny/bellhousing and see if it moves

the truck is stuck at work so i will have to go try that, will it go out suddenly like that. I drove it all day and was on my way home when I couldn't get it out of gear

you can drive it without a slave master cylinder. just put it in a low gear and start it up and row through the gears w/o the clutch. When mine went out, i did this for a week. Hard on starters, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

it was the master cylinder replaced them and it shifts great again . thanks for the advice

O ya....they'll "just go out" like that.....things tend to break when they are 100% plastic! Who designed those pieces of crap? Non-adjustable, plastic, one piece, tear the whole thing apart to replace, pieces of .....WHOOPS! ALMOST LOST IT!

SBC is making one that is ajustable now, I put one on my truck the other day. If you don't like where your clutch engauges, just change it it's GREAT thanks to Doug at PDW and Peter at SBC
