When you disconnect the negative battery terminal, you will be disabling the SRS/airbag system. Make sure however, you wait at least 15 minutes to a half an hour. Airbag systems have capacitors that store energy in the event of a crash where your battery cables could become disconnected.
PS Treat your module (airbag) with care...a 9 volt battery is what we use to deploy them at school so that the students can experiance this. Static electricity has been known to set them off while out of the vehicle. Also, NEVER set the airbag module face down......

99, best I can tell you is,
violet w/white is Dimmer switch Low beam output (14 guage wire)
light green is Headlamp switch output (16 guage wire)
red w/orange is Dimmer switch High beam output (14 guage wire)
black w/orange is Ground (16 guage wire)

Y'ALL ARE A BUNCH OF DOG GONE GENIUSES. THE MULTI FUNCTION DID THE TRICK. NOW I NOT ONLY HAVE HEADLIGHTS, BUT BRIGHTS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OVER A YEAR. EVEN THROUGH A FEW LISTINGS IN HERE NOBODY CAME UP WITH THIS SWITCH. SO A BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO JUMPED IN HERE.
