Headgasket popped

Hi how's everyone doin tonight? Well i guess i'd be better if my headgasket didn't have to go on me today. Couple question im going to do head studs and o-rings. with probly a .020 gasket. would it be smart to get everything re-done valve guides resufaced magnafluxed whatever else there is to do , it didnt pop while boosting a lot i guess it was sometime coming just setting there and smelled some anti-freeze check and it was flowing out pretty good.

Just curious, is this the dreaded 53 block crack or a bona-fide head gasket leak?

no 53 block. thats about all i can be thankful for right at this moment i'm sure ill be happy again once its fixed it right up top on the back down the back of the block. so im guessing the head gasket i check the back core plug by hand just to make sure it wasnt something else but i feel it wet between the head and block so i'm hoping.

Its probably been a long time coming, we have me head off now and you can see around a few of the cylinders that Air has been eating away at the gasket for sometime before it finally blew through and started lubricating my engine compartment!!! ha ha

On the head wieght i think its a bit heavier than 90 lbs. The engine dry comes in around 1100 lbs. The head is some where in the 350- 400 lbs range. You will need an engine hoist just to get it out.
