hard starting
i have a 2002 dodge diesel 4x4 6spd when i try to start the truck in the morning or after it sites for 15-20 minets i have to crank it over for 20-30 sections. i put a new lift pump in cant find eaney leeks. if i park it with the back about 8''higher it starts easer .some times the fule presser gage bounces between 6-9psi so fast it makes a ticking noise but only when driving i put a ball valve after the lift pump if i shut it off when i shut the truck off i can leave for a day.when i open up the valve a day later and it starts up like it should. i have tha eage ez stright pipe and k&n coldair intake. their is no power loss

air leak letting the fuel drain back, put slight pressure in the tank and look for leaks, it help to have a buddy for this and when releasing the pressure do it slow or i will spray fuel on you and not to much pressure, blow nozzle in the filler neck with a rag wrapped around it

still not starting very good i need help
so far i have put a new lift pump in fuel filter and a new check valve in the return side of injecter pump. and pressure tested all of the fuel lines. i put a ball valve in betwen the lift pump and injecter pump .if i run the truck then shut it off and turn the ball valve off, i can come back a day or two later and it will start like it should. if i dont shut the ball valve off i have to crank it for about a minute . even if i let it sit for 15-20 minutes i will have to crank it for a bit .runs good when it starts its a 02 6 spd
