so the truck left me stranded (for the 2nd time in two months) on monday evening with code P0628. today my lift pump came in, i changed it, now the truck runs again...yay.

but now i am throwing P2146 and P2149. what is going on here? i need to take the truck on a 400 mile round trip this weekend (leaving tomorrow). is this a quick fix or is there something seriously wrong? it seems to run just fine.

 

so i went to the auto parts store to find out what the codes were...i couldnt find P2XXX codes online. im assuming its nothing major since im not getting a CEL, but still it bugs the crap out of me that something is not the way it should be.

P0628 - Fuel Pump A Control Circuit Low
P2146 - Fuel Injector Grp A Supply Voltage Circuit Open
P2149 - Fuel Injector Grp B Supply Voltage Circuit Open

 

P2146 Bank 1 (Cylinders 1-3) Shorted High Or Low
P2149 Bank 2 (Cylinders 4-6) Shorted High Or Low

A quick google as I know nothing about 3rd gens says it's passably a nicked wire on the internal injector harness. Done as you replaced the LP??? one case was done with head studs nicking the wire but it's electrical.
