Fuel Pressure drops

I am pulling a 5th from california to DC without any problems (truck problems anyway). Then a couple of days ago I tanked up around Bowling Green Ky and started to notice my fuel pressure gauge would drop from 10-12 to 5-6 for a short time. When ever I stepped on the 'gas' the pressure would return where it should be (10-12). It would do this occasionally while I drove. I filled up again in West Viginia (weird green fuel) and I have not seen this problem again. My question is this a sign of my lift pump going or some how has to do with the fuel? Also, a few months ago someone posted a thread on different replacement pumps (Holley, FASS, etc) and recommended a certain brand, anyone remember the brand?

Thanks

-Pete

First check your gauge operation.....do you have an isolator? I would rebleed or by-pass this if you do......

No isolator and the problem has not reappeared since I filled up in WV. Weird.
