Fuel Leak

I tried to connect a fuel line from Geno's at the v44 pump schreader value to my FP sending unit. Geno's had very explicit instrustions on how to tighten but it keeps leaking, ALOT. Does anyone have experience with this. I don't have tapped banjo bolt with me so I either got to disconnect and cap it or really tighten it but I am afraid of breaking the schreader value

Hi Kevins,

If you are using the 18" long rubber fuel line that attaches to the valve, you might have to tighten it just a little more than the recommendation. Mine leaked when I followed the instructions also. I just tightened it more a little bit at a time until it stopped. I haven't had any problems since.

If you aren't comfortable doing that, give Geno's a call and see what the guys say.

Good Luck,

Tom
