Question fuel gauge sending unit

We put a Vulcan draw straw, Fass pump, new fuel lines, fixed VP and new gauges on my truck and she runs great now!! Except now the fuel gauge shows full ALL the time. There is no power to the fuel gauge sending unit. Something is stopping the power before it gets to the sending unit. Any ideas? Thanks!

in the third gens when you pull out the in tank pump you have to disconnect only the two wires that power the pump and leave the connections for the sending unit hooked up or your stock fuel gauge won't work.

The guage works on a ground signal as well I believe. I don't think you'll see any power except at the pump feed wire.
