there was recently a classified ad on here with an edge comp and a superchip for 400 bucks. the seller's name was at1022. i sent him the money through paypal and haven't heard from him since. his paypal account now shows that it is no longer registered. so dont do business with this one if he has anymore ads out there (which i dont think he does).

 

Did PayPal refund your money? I thought they had some kind of protection plan.

i havent talked to paypal but i will shortly. the transaction was made on the 18th of nov. yes this was the only contact i had. i thought paypal was more secure too but i guess not.

 

Dispute the charge with your credit card company as well...if your PayPal is tied into your credit card account. I had PayPal for a long time, but after receiving a phishing scam and reporting it to PayPal and their failure to even reply, I said no more PayPal...account closed...

 

yea something will come about from this, but who knows what.
