Fellow member needs assistance in Carlisle, PA

Member Free89W350 (Ryan) called me little while ago with a bit of a problem. His 89 lost all forward gears and he is stuck out there with a camper at Carlisle, PA.

Anyone in that area who is willing or able to assist him would be great, I know he would appreciate it.

He's looking for a place to park the truck till he can get it towed back home, that way he can worry about getting the camper towed home.

I had a bit of a problem today already, in fact I was having issues as I was talking to him on the phone. I was about 10 miles from home picking up some parts when I noticed a lot of fuel under the grey truck. Checked it out, its pouring out the AFC vent, not good.

Ryan has an A518 he's going to rebuild and swap into that truck, so he's not really concerned about putting another 727 in there.

I called him he didn't seem to be totally upset and said he didn't need any assistence. If he needs anything tell him to give me a call my # should be on his cell phone. Take care I hope he had a good time at the bike show at least.

Talked to him this morning, AAA plus towed the truck to his house. And he was able to line up another tow rig for the camper.
