hey, my engine light came on tonight, i pulled my codes, now i need that list. i know that there is a link for it but i can't find it and i'm kinda in a rush. sorry guys but thanx for the help. i'll tell ya'll the side effects later.

anyone know what those other codes mean? i drove my truck this morning and all seemed well but the light is still on, but i believe that it won't go off until the dealer or someone hooks up a scanner to it to turn it off right. but anyway i'll still tell you what it was doing last night. well, first the light came on, then it seemed to do this chugging surging thing when i put my foot into it, not a lot of power, then when i got where i was going i reved it up a little bit, and she used to smoke a lot but guess what, nothing, all clear. so that's about it, then i drove it this morning and all was well and the smoke had returned. so what's next just take it to the dealer?

 

It may mean you need glasses. I looked in the '03 book and couldn't find those 3.Yeah, probably so. Good luck.

My 99 did the same thing a couple of times. But mine only happens in rain. So i have a problem where domething has to be getting wet.

 

did you get it fixed at all? if so do what was it?

 

Nope it does it and then its gone. Last time it happened it was raining all day i got in it and drove 3 miles home and it was guttless no more than 10lbs boost no smoke nothing but engine light came on. Next mourning light on but ran great. By the afternoon the light went out. When i scanned it only thing there was 1693 but nothing else. I cleared it and never came back.

 

You need to have it scanned with the Dodge DRB Scantool.

That 1693 means there's another code in there somewhere, and the Dodge scanner is the only one that can find it.
