I just talked to him, fuel will only trickle out of the filter housing and the oil level is 1" above the full line. He had the oil changed 500 miles ago and it was at the full line at the last check.

 

Where is he.

Yup. Sounds like injector went bad and emptied the fuel tank into the engine.

 

he was on 59 N. of liberty! he called me this morning and unfortionaly i was staged for a pipe bomb scare for a few hrs!! turned out to be a sparkler bomb and was x-rayed 4 times before it was decided there was no threat!

i hope john has gotten taken care of...keep us posted buddy

finally got to demontrond about 9 tonight,and guess what?as i tried to start to get it off the trailer the POS fired up and ran fine but still has check engine light and 2 codes.when i started it 2 hours earlier to pull on trailer it still acted like it was runnin on 2 cylinders.so now i get to wait for a call and maybe i'll get lucky and get it back before i retire!

I got in late and can't read this morning. I read the opening line and thought it said, husband going down the road 75 MPH and died!

After reading that a bad injector seems minor. Good luck with it.
