Electrical Problem front passenger headlight and blinker

I just got a new (to me) CUMMINS on sat its a 99 2500 quad cab 4x4 5 speed. and since I got it the passenger side blinks really fast so right away I replaced the bulb but it didnt fix the problem. It does work and blink normally @ hwy speeds it real wierd. Well yest I got my oil changed and I said something about the blinker and not needing to change the bulb. They came back to me and said my passenger headlight was burned out low beam I think they meant high beam but anyways I said go ahead and change it well they did and on the way home and currently the highbeam indicator light on the dash has been on dimmer than when I put my highbeams on then just the drivers headlight gets brighter and the indicator light in the dash gets brighter. Also noticed that the passenger pos wire to that battery was disconnected (dont know how in the hell I missed that before) but anyways I bought 2 red tops gonna hook up tomorrow. Has anybody had any issues with the socket are the turn bulb and headlight socket connected? what would I look for in damage or something disconnected? at hwy spped the blinker works but the headlight has the same problem either way. Should or can I just replace the socket? any ideas or input is appreciated thanks

I think that you have a ground problem there.
IIRC you will find a ground stud in the vicinity of your headlight- a lot of black cables going there. A broken cable there can make the truck act weird.
On the drivers side breaking the ground stud ring will make your turn signal operate the wipers once per each blink of the turn signal, and the washer will light up your turn signal.
Quite often the cables are corroded just at the connection. I did shorten mine somewhat and made a new ground stud in a place where the shortened cables would reach.
